SAFETY POLICY & TRAINING
Since opening our doors in 1988, Walton Engineering has made safety our number one priority. We adhere to stringent safety programs and on-the-job safety procedures that exceed industry standards. We demand constant vigilance and awareness on the part of each and every employee. We employ a full-time Health and Safety Officer who enforces OSHA standards and implements site-specific safety plans.
Consistent throughout all departments, Walton Engineering is committed to Health, Safety, Security and the Environment (HSSE). This policy outlines our core values and responsibility to protect the environment, the health of our employees and to provide a safe working environment for all. Our HSSE management system is designed to ensure compliance with the law and to achieve continuous and measurable improvement.
- Our HSSE program allows us to foster a culture of safety by assuring alignment of vision, expectations, behaviors and accountability.
We promote constructive communication with our suppliers, subcontractors, clients and competitors to effectively manage health, safety, security and environmental issues.
Under the HSSE program all occupational injuries / illnesses and environmental incidents can be prevented.
Employees must be involved in the HSSE program and activities at all levels of the company.
